ABOUT LOIS

Lois Glasgow is a seasoned business leader, business owner, consultant, licensed psychologist, and co-founder of Carson Consulting. Her areas of expertise include executive assessment, executive coaching, succession planning, and leadership development programs. Her insight and judgment combined with a talent for delivering messages in a positive, constructive manner have earned the respect of business leaders across the country.

Her varied business experience includes working as a CPA for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, as a corporate lending officer at BNY Mellon, and owner of a specialty store. Prior to co-founding Carson Consulting in 2007, she spent nearly 12 years managing the coaching and executive assessment practice for another human resources consulting firm.

Continuing to build on a 25+ year consulting career, Lois brings a successful track record of understanding talent needs, advising on the selection and placement of leaders, and evaluating capacity and potential to contribute to the success of an organization. She has worked extensively with managers and executives to help them understand their capabilities and identify ways to increase effectiveness.

Lois received her Ph.D. and master’s degree in psychology from Southern Methodist University. She also earned a master’s degree in management from Carnegie-Mellon University and her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Grove City College. Active in various community service and non-profit groups in Dallas, she is also a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the Society of Psychologists in Management, and Dallas Area Industrial/Organizational Psychologists. She currently splits her time between Dallas, Texas and Seaside, Florida. When not working, you can find her either in yoga class or doting on her beloved grandchildren.
