LESLIE GAY CARDER
Leslie has over three decades of experience in assessment, as a leader, and business owner. She partners with clients to ensure they have the talent and attributes needed to achieve business results as well as their personal career goals. Well-versed in developing and delivering customized assessment and HR strategies for recruitment and talent management, Leslie has helped clients connect their talent strategy to their business strategy. She also partners with clients to identify and close performance gaps. As an executive coach, her approach is direct, supportive, and focused on practical results. Her coaching specialty areas include high potential development, onboarding, career transitions, and performance issues. The clients she coaches are business leaders at all levels facing complex and shifting challenges. Each coaching engagement is customized to the individual’s needs and goals and designed for tangible results and sustainable change.
Before co-founding Carson Consulting in 2007, she spent several years as a senior consultant in the coaching and assessment practice of a larger HR consulting firm. A Dallas native, Leslie attended The Hockaday School and the University of Mississippi. She completed a master’s degree as well as all the coursework for a Ph.D. in psychology at Southern Methodist University. Outside of work, she is the proud mom to two grown sons (a cryptocurrency advisor and a television writer) and an adoring grandmother to one perfect grandson – no bias here.
