Bios

Leslie Carder Nastri, M.A.

A Dallas native, Leslie attended The Hockaday School and the University of Mississippi.  She completed her Master of Arts degree in clinical and counseling psychology at Southern Methodist University in 1992.  She is in the final stages of completing her Ph.D. in psychology from the same university.

Leslie brings a wide breadth of experience to her consulting work.  Prior to co-founding Carson Consulting, she spent a number of years as a senior consultant in the coaching and assessment practice of a larger HR consulting firm.  Her other experience includes assessment and diagnostic testing at Children’s Medical Center and The Shelton School.  She also worked in various capacities at the SMU counseling center and as an academic language therapist.

Leslie is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), American Psychological Association (APA), Division for Consulting Psychologists, and Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychologists (SIOP).  She is also active in various local professional organizations.  Her work has been presented at the annual SIOP conference.
